Dr. Stella Chukwu (aka Dr. Stella) is a first generation Nigerian-American, born in Washington, DC. As a Washingtonian, it was important for her to build her practice in the city that poured so much into her professionally and socially. Her brand new practice is the same neighborhood she grew up in and currently resides. This is her community and she wants to provide quality dental care for the pediatric population.
Dr. Stella has completed additional dental training to focus her care on children. This means she has the ideal skillset to help your child improve their oral health and feel confident with their smile.
What’s more, Dr. Stella enjoys working with children and their families. When she is not at work, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, traveling the world, running, finding new ways to work out, gardening, and practicing her guitar.

As an Orthodontist, Dr. Briana provides services to patients as young as 7 because she knows that many children if treated early, may not need extensive orthodontic treatment in the future. She also enjoys helping her adolescent and adult patients get the beautifully straight smiles they have always wanted. For these very reasons, she provides her patients with expertise in functional appliance therapy, traditional braces, and clear aligners.
Dr. Briana knows that it takes the combined efforts of herself, her team, the patient, and their families to reach the ultimate goal of a beautiful smile. Dr. Stella Chukwu, a first-generation Nigerian-American and born in Washington, DC, decided to establish her practice in the city that has given her so much. Her new office is in the neighborhood where she grew up and lives, and her goal is to offer quality dental care to the pediatric population.
Meet Dr. Briana McRae
Orthodontist Dr. Briana sees patients as young as 7, as early treatment can prevent the need for extensive orthodontics later in life. She is also dedicated to helping teens and adults achieve the smile they’ve always wanted, using functional appliance therapy, traditional braces, and clear aligners.
Meet Dr. Yetunde Patrick
Dr. Yetunde Patrick is a general dentist originally from Chicago, IL. She graduated from Spelman College with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and then earned her Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of Maryland-Baltimore. Her interest in dentistry is deeply tied to the community; she has served as SNDA President.
