Dr. Pailin was born and raised in the suburbs of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She relocated to Washington, DC, where she attended Howard University and earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in Chemistry. Following her undergraduate studies, Dr. Pailin worked in dental and craniofacial research at the National Institutes of Health.

She went on to receive her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Howard University College of Dentistry. During dental school, Dr. Pailin discovered her passion for creating confident, healthy smiles, which led her to pursue advanced training through a residency in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics. She is currently board certified by the American Board of Orthodontics.

Dr. Pailin is dedicated to enhancing confidence and satisfaction through personalized orthodontic care and beautifully aligned smiles. A lifelong learner, she is an active member of the American Association of Orthodontists and the American Dental Association. Outside of the office, Dr. Pailin enjoys trying new restaurants, practicing hot yoga, and spending time with family and friends.
